FOUNDATION, INTEGRAL OF MUSICOTHERAPY AND PSYCHOACOUSTIC, and its acronym: F.I.M.S is a non-governmental, non-profit organization of a social nature, endowed with its own assets, administrative autonomy, capable of exercising rights and contracting obligations. Established in accordance with the law and Colombian Civil legislation and articles 62 and 103 of the Political Constitution of Colombia and its main domicile will be the City of Medellín, and may open auxiliary offices anywhere in the country and abroad.
Knowing the stimulating, healing and restorative effects of music, we put our project and services at your disposal, focused on improving the quality and well-being of the Colombian population. It is a space for individual and group interaction in which, through the use of music, we seek to improve the physical, psychological, intellectual and social performance of people who have health, learning or socialization difficulties with the aim of improving their quality of life. It aims, through a musical-therapeutic proposal, to contribute to the search for alternative solutions to the problems generated by modern life; Likewise, contribute to the scientific discussion of them.
Committed to the care of life and spirit and using music as a therapeutic means, we have formed a network of professionals made up of musicians, educators, occupational therapists, psychologists and lawyers willing to put their knowledge at the service of those who need it most and thus creating a comprehensive and multidisciplinary project.
